One of the most important rules in search and rescue is to make sure you don't become a subject needing rescue yourself. Survival skills can prevent this from happening. Learn the basics of how to prepare for unforseen circumstances. This is a high level course not intended to replace experience and in-depth survival training. This class is taught during the April training cycle.
